Expoagrofuturo 2025 will take over Medellín with the latest trends and innovations
- More than 350 companies, 75 specialized talks, international speakers, business conferences and innovation spaces will set the agenda.

Medellín, August 2025. From September 10 to 12, Plaza Mayor in Medellín will once again be the setting in which technology, knowledge and opportunities from the Colombian and Latin American countryside will come together, with the holding of the 18th edition of Expoagrofuturo, organized by Agrilink and Corferias. This event is consolidated as the most relevant meeting point for actors in the agri-food ecosystem, within the framework of Agro Week, an initiative that brings together activities, forums and events with national and international impact.
Expo Agrofuturo 2025 will connect more than 350 companies, unions, producers and entrepreneurs in networking, investment and specialized training spaces. “Each edition connects thousands of professionals with emerging technologies, disruptive business models, consumer trends and fundamental tools to face the challenges of a constantly evolving sector", mentioned Doris Chingaté, Project Manager at Expo Agrofuturo.
Academic agenda, innovation and knowledge transfer
One of the pillars of the event will be its robust academic agenda, which this year will feature 75 specialized talks, including the sixth edition of the Asobiocol Summit, the most important space in the country on bioinput issues.
Likewise, the FIXA (Agrofuturo Innovation Forum) returns, the central academic event of the fair, which for two days (September 10 and 11) will bring together high-level international speakers from countries such as Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.

Jaime Elizondo (mexico). Reference in regenerative production and use of animals for soil regeneration.
Andre Aguiar (brazil). Agricultural engineer with a focus on productive efficiency and sustainability.

In this edition, Agstar will be an opportunity to connect with innovation leaders. In addition, for the first time a live podcast will be held to discuss mental health issues in the sector.
Agromatch will be the space designated for the business conference, where conversations will become agreements. This edition will have a second round with the support of the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, Comfama and Procolombia, which will have more than 20 international buyers.
